Solution
Our solution targets several of the problems that concerns responsible consumption and production such as resource efficiency, environmental sustainability and production patterns.
First of all, our solution is directly improving food efficiency by reducing the amount of food that goes to waste.
Improvements in resource efficiency will reduce resource consumption and the wasted resources will be used and distributed more wisely.
Secondly, reducing waste and food loss can contribute to environmental sustainability by increasing the efficiency of food systems and lowering production costs.
Our solution decreases consumption and will therefore decrease production.
In addition, the production patterns and consumption will over time change to a more sustainable track.
This implies improvements in resource efficiency and active engagement in multilateral environmental agreements.
Our solution makes the user conscious over their waste and will therefore ensure active engagement.
